We are a local charity that was originally set over 80 years ago to provide community support and amenities to the village of Marcham in Oxfordshire and its surrounding parish.
As you can see from the details below, we have recently invested over £1.9m in community facilities and are now focussing on supporting a wide range organisations that either facilitate or directly deliver (to the parish of Marcham) community based services, goods and activities and the amenities that support their provision.

The Marcham Centre site marks the culmination of over 15 years of work by the Trustees to deliver facilities fit for the 21st century and it would not have been possible without a considerable amount of effort, determination and vision from members of the Trust, the Parish Council and the Marcham Community Group.
Alongside Section 106 funds, donations and grants from the Parish Council, the Trust has contributed over £1.4m to this project and we sincerely hope the residents of Marcham and surrounding hamlets will benefit from these amazing new facilities for decades to come.
The Trust has also re-invested £400k in the wonderful new Nursery building which not only gives the community a much needed facility for its young families but also provides the Trust with an income stream from which it can start to fulfil its long neglected charitable objectives of assisting those “persons resident in the parish who are in need, hardship or distress (including making of grants to bodies who provide goods, services or facilities to them)”.
