Sweet Briar Residents' Association
On Friday 21st June, the Anson Trust was delighted to attend the grand opening of Sweet Briar Residents' Association's new community meeting room, "The Shed". Led by Tina Hill, the Residents' Association submitted a request for grant funding last October for a much needed communal meeting place within easy reach of the residents.

Thirsty Cafe
In February 2023, £1,170 was granted towards the cost of a new professional coffee machine for this community-run cafe to help ensure the ongoing quality of their service and to help provide this valuable community space.
Marcham Pre-School
This village pre-school has been awarded funds to help maintain a high standard of experience for some of the littlest members of our community including quality, sustainable outdoor play equipment.
Marcham Rainbows and Brownies
A grant was made to this local Girlguiding group towards safety and litter-picking equipment to help keep the community looking great, safe for wildlife and also cultivating some great values in the children.
Marcham Colts Football Club
In October 2023, £3190 was granted to a local children's football team. This allowed for the purchase of new high-quality goals to expand practice sessions and to improve match-play, getting more children engaged in active team-sports.
Marcham Primary School
In July 2023, £5200 was granted to the local primary school to convert an outside space into a community garden. This has allowed students to participate in growing fruits and vegetables which have been used in-school and in the community. The garden has been used in lessons across the curriculum and has been paired in with a garden in Migori, Kenya through the Ripple Effec
